Debut album from Thus: Owls a new band brought together by singer and composer Erika Alexandersson, known in Sweden for her unique song-writing, innovative way of singing and for her participation in groups like « Josef och Erika » and « The Moth » for example. Also playing on Cardiac Malformations is a couple of free minded and experienced swedish musician, namely Martin Höper (Koop), bass, Cecilia Persson, piano, Ola Hultgren (Ane Brun, Loney Dear), drums and Simon Angell (Patrick Watson’s band), guitar. The music on this debut could be described as experimental pop. It’s grand, enchanting and harsh at the same time.
